The widespread use of fluoride supplements and toothpaste have made tooth surfaces harder and more resistant to decay. Cavities can still occur, however, and diagnosing them is more challenging because they can start through microscopic defects in the tooth enamel and spread into the softer tooth structure beneath the surface.
We use a new tool called the DIAGNOdent, which uses a small laser light to search for hidden decay. This unique instrument provides instant feedback on the health of the tooth. A pen-like probe glides over tooth surfaces checking the health of the tooth. The process is completely safe and pain-free.
Caesy Education System
The Caesy Education System is a multimedia patient education system that we have installed in our reception area. You can also view these videos in our treatment rooms and can watch several of them here on our web site.
This system displays informative audio-visual presentations about a variety of dental health and cosmetic dentistry topics. It helps patients understand treatments through visual images combined with easy-to-understand narrative explanations.

Odyssey Diode Laser
The Odyssey Diode Laser represents the latest diode laser technology available for soft tissue modification and preventive care. The laser performs minor surgical procedures and in addition, reduces bacteria from the area at the same time.
Lasers are the most precise, least traumatic, and will heal with less post-operative pain than any other technique. Sutures are rarely needed for laser wounds and many soft tissue procedures can be completed without anesthesia for greater patient acceptance and comfort.
